If you are paying $97 for the Professional Package to use our more stylised templates and access our prewritten gems of text, you have 3 months in which to edit, change, add to, recreate, tailor, delete and download as many times as you need to.

Simply because we believe it won’t take more than 3 months using our products and services to land a role.

You are always welcome back! As long as you use the same email address (you can always reset your password – we can’t remember ours after a few months let alone years), you will gain access to your original dashboard with all of your past resumes and cover letters for you to edit, tailor, add to and change.

The answer to that question is ‘your circumstances’. If you can’t afford to pay for a professional resume, or if you write quite well and just need some direction, you would be mad to pay anyone anything including us.

Our free option is excellent. We guarantee that even if you choose our free templates and use our form to autofill all the information an employer needs to see, your resume will be better than 90% of your competitors.

However, if you want to really stand out for a role you think lots of people will apply for, perhaps it would be worth your while to pay the $97 and upgrade to a more eye-catching template.

Your cover letter should be a personal letter to the person who is managing the hiring process. This is likely the person who will interview you, so it is important to treat this as your introduction to the decision-maker. Your cover letter needs to highlight what is in your resume, specifically the experience that is important to the role you are applying for, and it needs to stand on its own.

We view cover letters as a way of illustrating the strengths and skills you need for the particular role you are applying for. If they want someone who is an excellent communicator, prove you are by writing an excellent cover letter. If you sense they are after someone warm and with a sense of humour, let that shine through in your writing. If they require someone who is creative and displays initiative, this is your chance to shine. Don’t waste the opportunity to create a fabulous cover letter and express some personality.
