Here’s how you list hard skills on a CV (also commonly called a resume):
- Determine what hard skills employers are looking for in the industry. Find those hard skills by reading the essential or desired requirements section of the job ad, and by reading other job ads for similar positions.
- List out any hard skills you have that match what you read in those job ads.
- If you have lots of technical skills, you can group them by category.
- Highlight how you used your skills at past companies in your resume’s professional experience section, under responsibilities and achievements if possible.
