Is size 9 font too small for a CV?

Yes, size 9 font is too small for a CV (also commonly called a resume). Size 9 font is hard to read on a computer, and because you are highly likely to be sending your application over the internet, the hiring manager or recruiter will have to zoom in to read your CV.

You should use a font size that’s at least 10.5 points to make sure your CV is easily readable (depending on the font you choose).
