There is no need to put your CV (also commonly called a resume) on LinkedIn, especially as your work experience and skillset should be in your LinkedIn profile.
CVs include some personal information that you don’t need all your connections around the world to have.
If you are using LinkedIn to apply for jobs, you should attach a tailored CV to each specific job posting you apply for. Simply follow these steps:
- In LinkedIn, click “Jobs” in the menu
- Click on a job you want to apply for
- Click “Apply”
Some companies will accept your CV directly via LinkedIn, and others will prompt you to upload your CV on their own job portal.
