How do I apply for a job on LinkedIn?

If you are using LinkedIn to apply for jobs, you should attach a tailored CV (also commonly called a resume) and cover letter to each specific job you apply for.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. In LinkedIn, click “Jobs” in the menu
  2. Click on a job you want to apply for
  3. Click “Apply”
  4. Follow the instructions to answer all questions and upload your CV and cover letter

Some companies will accept your CV directly via LinkedIn, and others will prompt you to upload your CV on their job portal.
