To give yourself the best chance of getting an interview you should include as many keywords as you can in your CV (also commonly called a resume) and cover letter.
Apart from the fact you want to demonstrate you are the perfect candidate by matching exactly what the hiring manager is looking for, many large companies use software called applicant tracking systems (ATS) that scan your resume for keywords, and bin the ones that don’t include them.
The best way to find out what keywords you should include is to carefully read through the job description for any notable keywords (using a highlighter is useful) and then sprinkle them through your resume to give you the best chance of success.
