Soft skills like friendliness are valuable in every industry and assure employers that you will work well with others if successful.
You can show that you are a friendly person on a CV (also commonly called a resume) by:
- Mentioning that you are a warm and friendly person in your professional summary at the beginning of your resume.
- Framing your friendliness as a soft skill. For example, you can list ‘interpersonal skills’ or ‘people skills’ in your resume’s skills section.
- Prove how friendly you are on your resume, by highlighting instances of when you worked well with co-workers or customers in your experience section. For example, you could say you had a 97% customer satisfaction rate in your last job as a customer service representative due to your friendly nature.
